Every single thing we sell is made after you order it. Nothing sits finished on a shelf waiting for a buyer, because until you type your name into it, your gift does not exist yet.
That is the whole idea. It is also why we ask for a little patience.
We make it ourselves
Our printers are in our own workshop in Singapore. We are not passing your order to a factory somewhere else and hoping for the best. The person who checks your spelling is the same person who takes your item off the machine and puts it in the box.
Two ways we make things
Printing onto a ready-made item
For mugs, tote bags, notebooks, T-shirts and the like, we keep the plain item in the workshop and print your design straight onto it. The item is standard; your design is the point.
Building the whole thing from scratch
For figures, ornaments, models and shapes that simply do not exist as a plain item, we build the object itself, layer by layer, out of plastic. Nothing is bought in except the raw material. It is slower, because the machine has to make the entire object, and a large or detailed piece can take many hours on its own.
So why seven to ten working days?
Because our machines can only make one thing at a time, and your gift has to wait its turn behind the orders that came in before it. We would rather quote you a date we can comfortably keep than a fast one we then miss.
If we are ever genuinely too busy to hold that promise, we lengthen it on the product page, or we take the item off sale for a while. What we do not do is quietly let your order run late and say nothing.
Your gift gets checked twice
Once before we touch any material, when we open your design and read your spelling. And once after it is finished, when we hold the item next to the preview you approved and make sure they match. Both checks cost us a minute. Both save you a disappointing parcel.
If something in your design looks wrong to us, we stop and ask you before we use any material. You will hear from us rather than receive a surprise.
Before you pay, please check your spelling
You will see a preview of your finished gift on screen, and the same preview arrives in your confirmation email. That preview is our record of what you asked us to make. Reading it twice takes ten seconds and it is the single best thing you can do to make sure your gift turns out right.
